Navigator is built by CFOLogic, Inc., a finance firm that runs the books, close and CFO work for owner-led businesses, and the software team that turned that work into a product. The posts on this site are written by that team: the CFOs and controllers who answer these questions for clients every week, and the product people who build the reports the posts describe.
What we write about
Six topics: Multi-entity, Cash, Lenders, AI and trust, Industries and For firms. Every post starts from a question owners actually ask, in the words they ask it, and answers it in the first paragraph. Worked examples use rounded figures from the kinds of businesses Navigator serves: a few companies, a few loans, one owner trying to see the whole picture.
How a post is reviewed
A CFO on the team reviews each post before it is published, checking the arithmetic in every worked example and the source behind every external figure. Prices, product features and rules are stated as they stood on the post's date. When something changes, the post is updated and the visible date at the top and bottom of the page moves with it.
Where the numbers come from
Statistics are cited to their source in the text, with a link where one exists. Figures about Navigator itself, such as pricing, come from the pricing page. Nothing in a post is a substitute for advice from your own CPA, lender or attorney, who know the facts of your situation.
